Aaaand.... an addition to the curtains

Dave built me this fabulous cornice board to go over our patio door. It was quite the process, but I think it turned out pretty well in the end. I then created a no-sew valance for my kitchen window, which was much easier than I thought it would be!

The cornice board

The valance. And yes, I cleaned my countertops just for this picture!

Last weekend it snowed again. We have received a ridiculous amount of snow this winter. Dave took Tate out to snowblow and shovel and took these great pics.

Pushing his "snowblower"
"Man it's bright out here with all this snow!"
"WHAT?!? I have to do the whole drive? That will take FOREVER!"
"Look at this fabulous farf my mama made me!"

A little shovel action to clean up the edges.

Those turned out awesome! How the heck do you make a no sew valance??? How long does it take you to get Tate all bundled up? I'm not envious of your winters at all!
