Without an Explanation

I got home from work tonight and was getting ready to give Tate his bath. I said "Mommy missed you today". He thought about that for a minute and said, "Where's missed you at?" I laughed and thought about what I could tell him. A feeling in your heart? A thought? I couldn't find the words to explain it, so I finally just said "It means Mommy loved you today".
