Randomness

Dave was off work this week in order to use up some of his vacation time before year's end. One of the projects he wanted to work on during his vacation time was moving our neighbor's playset into our yard. We have some great neighbors who didn't want their playset any more and offered to give it to us, and of course we said YES!
Dave's other project - drilling a hole through the wall in our living room to string tv/dvd/stereo cords behind the fireplace - apparently didn't go as well. And to be honest, when he told me he was going to do that, I didn't have high hopes. But it was a manly project that he really wanted to do. I think he will get it figured out eventually, but for now, we will keep the cords where they are. He did get to purchase a new tool to add to his tool arsenal, so not all was lost.

Tate also had his 2 year checkup this week. He is in the 90% for height at 36 inches and in the 90% for weight at 32 lbs.
I had a long, long, long week at work. We were waist deep in babies this week. I am completely thrilled to be at home just hanging out today.
All week, Tate has been pointing out the window and saying "Daddy got new slide!" Until yesterday, it was too cold to play on it.

I think this rock climbing wall will serve him a little better when he's older. I love this new hat!

A phrase I say a lot is that something is "all crazy". Tate has picked this up and will tell me when his diaper is all crazy (meaning it's just not situated quite right) or when my hair is all crazy (meaning I just got up and haven't brushed it yet). Here is an example of his "hair all crazy".

And the crazy hair and Thomas pj's.
