Settling In

We are slowly getting settled in our new house. I would post pictures, but I can't find the camera. Not because it's packed, but because I left it somewhere and can't remember where. I'm sure Dave will remember, so I'll have to ask him when he gets home from work. It might be in his car now that I think about it.

Tate hasn't seemed to mind the transition at all. He loves to run around the circle from the kitchen to the office to the living room and around again. Fifteen times or more. Ah, to have that much energy! He also loves his slide in the backyard. He developed an obsession with shovels and brooms (don't ask, I don't know why) and I found him a toddler sized shovel and broom at a garage sale for a dollar. I LOVE garage sales!! I only let him play with the shovel outside and he probably asks for it ten times a day when we are in the house. It is one of the words he actually says pretty well, though it sounds more like "sho-bel". Apple is another word he says pretty well. Mommy still sounds like "ba". I can't figure it out.

Dave and I are liking the fact that we are a few minutes closer to daycare and work, so we can all sleep a little later. We also love having our own place!! That may actually be the understatement of the year.

Anyway, I hope to be able to post videos of stuff as soon as I figure out if our internet is fast enough to upload them.
