Easter

We had a good Easter. Tate stopped moving long enough for us to snap a few pictures. Okay, not really, these are the only ones that aren't too blurry or don't involve us wrestling with him to get his picture taken!

Never mind the shirt sleeves, I was hoping people would think it was a fashion statement, but in this picture they just look too short. I tried to roll them up a little to look cooler, but Tate insisted that they be rolled down. He's really into sleeves, now that he knows what they are. We always roll up his sleeves for meals and when he's done he holds out his arm and says "see" (sleeve) for me to roll them back down. I'm dreading warmer weather in a way because he's not going to understand what short sleeves are and it's just going to tick him off that I can't roll them down!

Of course we had to set up our own little Easter egg hunt in the backyard. Tate had a lot of fun. We ended up doing it twice because the first time Dave forgot to turn the video camera on, but Tate didn't care. And I confess, I bought that particular Easter basket because I knew I could save it and use it for Halloween. I'm so cheap. :)
Last but not least, Tate figures out that there's candy inside the eggs and that it's pretty tasty.

I was thinking about how much he's grown in the last year, so I dug up a picture of him from last Easter. His hair is a lot more blonde now!

A mini Dave. It's crazy. :) I love that he is such a little man. And I think you are a smart mommy for using baskets as double duty! Not cheap, smart! Keep us posted on the move date!

I think you should be worried that at 1 1/2 he is opinionated about his attire - look out for the teenage years!
Adorable as always...baby Tate is growing up.
