Anyway, my work had a children's holiday party this past weekend. We thought it would be a good opportunity for Tate to meet Santa for the first time and avoid the long lines at the mall. We also got to take a picture for free. I am all about free these days.
We waited in line for about 5 or 10 minutes. Tate was very patient during this time, walking in circles around me and holding on to my finger like he so often does these days. We got to the front and waited for our turn to sit on Santa's lap. I picked Tate up and carried him up the steps to see Santa. He just stared while Santa said hi. I put Tate on Santa's lap, and well, I'll let you gauge his reaction.
I felt a little guilty, but I stepped out of the way and told Dave to take a quick picture while Tate screamed bloody murder. Then I grabbed him and we made a run for it. But we did get a nice stocking with some toys in return for all the trauma.

That's awesome! Those are the best kinds of pictures! That will be so fun to show him when he's older.
Poor Boy! Very cute picture! Isn't it bad that us mean adults find these photos so funny?
